Privacy Policy — BiLingoPlus studio website

This website (bilingoplus.com) has no accounts and no ads. Since 16 October 2026 we measure how the site is used with Google Analytics 4, so that we can tell which pages people read and how they find us. Everything it does here is described below.

Website analytics (Google Analytics 4)

• What is measured. Pages viewed, how a visit arrived (for example a search engine, the Chrome Web Store or a direct link), scrolling, clicks on links that leave the site, file downloads, form starts and submits (which form, not its contents), embedded video plays, site-search terms, and coarse technical information that Google derives itself — approximate country and city, device type, browser and language. We also count two events: that a checkout was opened or completed (product, price and currency, and the checkout session ID) and that the contact form was sent (which form only, never what you wrote).
• Cookies — depending on where you are. Outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to recognise a returning browser. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it runs without cookies: it stores nothing on your device and sends Google only cookieless signals that are not tied to a browser identifier. Advertising storage and ad personalisation are switched off for every visitor, everywhere; Google Signals is off.
• What we never send. We do not send Google your name, email address, order reference or licence key. Before anything is measured we remove order references and email addresses from page addresses, and Google Analytics is not loaded at all on the pages that show a licence key or an order (purchase confirmation and billing pages).
• Retention and access. Google keeps the event data for 14 months; only BiLingoPlus LLC can see the reports. How Google uses this data: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Opting out. Any content blocker stops it, as does Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same without it.

Other data

• Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive exactly what you type — your name, email address and message. It is stored in our own database at our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and forwarded to our mailbox by Google Workspace, which hosts our email. We use it only to reply to you, never for marketing lists, and never share it with anyone else. It is kept only as long as we need it to answer you; ask us at info@bilingoplus.com and we delete it.
• Email. If you email info@bilingoplus.com, we keep the correspondence for as long as the conversation is useful, then it's just mail in a mailbox.
• Checkout. Paid plans are sold through a checkout hosted by Paddle, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle's checkout script loads only when you click Get Pro / Get Premium (or open /slides/buy) and, once you open a checkout, sets its own payment cookies and runs its own subscription analytics (ProfitWell/Retain); what Paddle collects is governed by Paddle's policy. From Paddle we receive what we need to deliver and support your order: your email address, country, the product, price and currency, and the order and subscription IDs — plus, for Cardwright and GridScoop, the licence key it produced. Card details never reach us.
• Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (IP address, requested page, browser) to deliver and protect it and gives us aggregate traffic counts — see Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use Cloudflare to identify visitors.

Our products have their own policies

Each BiLingoPlus product has its own privacy policy describing exactly what that tool touches: Translate Slides with AI, GridScoop, Cardwright, HARScope. The short version of our house rules: minimal permissions, no tracking inside the products, your content is never stored by us; where a product must send it somewhere (translation), its policy names where.
