Nothing is uploaded — check it yourself

A HAR file is a recording of what your browser sent and received, and it routinely contains session cookies, Authorization headers and API keys. That is why this analyzer is built so it cannot send your file anywhere: it runs in a separate frame served with the security policy connect-src 'none', which makes the browser refuse every fetch, XHR, WebSocket and beacon from it.

Is my HAR file uploaded?

No. The analyzer runs in your browser, inside a frame whose security policy blocks every fetch, XHR, WebSocket and beacon — the browser itself will not let it send your file anywhere. You can check: open DevTools → Network, then open your file here; no request carries it.

What does the analyzer flag?

Failed requests (4xx, 5xx and requests that never got a status), slow requests (a second or more), heavy responses (1 MB or more) and redirects, with each redirect chain hop by hop. Each one is a filter: click it and the table shows exactly those requests.

Can it remove cookies and tokens before I send the file?

Yes. Clean & save writes a copy in which cookie values, Authorization and API-key headers, tokens in URLs and request bodies are replaced with REDACTED; response bodies are optional. Names stay, so the copy still shows what was sent. It matches names and token shapes, so skim the copy before you send it.

Is it free?

Yes — no account, no limits on the number of files. HARScope is also a free extension for Chrome.

What is the difference from the Chrome extension?
