Cardwright: what changed in each version
Short answer: The current version is 1.0.1, released on 13 September 2026. Chrome installs extension updates by itself, and your cards stay in place when it does.
Version 1.0.1 · 13 September 2026
- A rejected key no longer wipes a working licence: if you paste a wrong, old or mistyped key while Pro is active, Pro stays on.
- A Get Pro button at the top of the popup; clicking the free-plan counter (cards and decks used) does the same.
- The free-plan label is now translated in Spanish and Russian, like in the other languages.
Version 1.0.0 · 21 August 2026
- First release on the Chrome Web Store: turn highlighted text into question-and-answer or fill-in-the-blank cards and review them right in the popup.
- Send a deck to the Anki app in one click, or export files for Anki and Quizlet; back up and restore all your decks; an optional “+ Add card” button on the page.
- Free for up to 25 cards and 3 decks; Pro removes the limit for a one-time $4.99.
